What we expect

• Be real. Use a genuine identity. No impersonation, sock-puppets, or coordinated fake-grassroots activity.
• Be respectful. Argue ideas, not people. Honest criticism and disagreement are welcome — personal attacks, harassment, and pile-ons are not.
• No hate or incitement. No slurs or attacks based on ethnicity, religion, region, gender, or any identity. No threats or calls to violence. This is taken especially seriously.
• No defamation. Don't post false factual accusations against named people as if they were established fact.
• No spam or manipulation. No advertising, scams, or campaign sabotage. Embed links only from the supported sources, and only when they add to the conversation.
• Stay on mission. This space is about moving Lagos forward. Keep it there.

How moderation works

Members post in real time. Circle moderators and site admins can remove content, lock or pin conversations, and remove members who break these rules. An automated check also reviews posts after they appear and flags the worst for removal. Decisions favor keeping good-faith dissent and removing abuse.

See something that breaks these rules? Use the Report link on any post — a moderator will review it. If you believe content is defamatory, infringes your rights, or should be removed for legal reasons, email conduct@lagosforward.com with a link to the content and a short explanation. We aim to respond promptly.
